THE little Church of St Lawrence at Lavernock was filled to overflowing when friends gathered for a Service of Christmas Lessons and Carols. They enjoyed themselves thoroughly and sang all the carols with great enthusiasm.

Thanks are due to the splendid readers and the fine organist, Ann Thomas; and also to all who donated decorations and those who arranged them so beautifully; and finally to Colin Kitsell who generously supplied the mulled wine and mince pies over at the Marconi Inn.
