A CAR was destroyed by a fire on a busy Penarth road this week.
The burnt out vehicle was parked in the lay by of a bus stop at the bottom of Redlands road near the Merrie Harrier junction on Monday morning (July 11).
Fire crews were called to the scene at 8.47am.
Pictures show how the front of the vehicle had been severely damaged by the blaze which the fire service described as "accidental."
Police were also called to the scene to assist and there were no injuries reported.
