A plan of action for the Vale of Glamorgan Council's year has been revealed.
The Annual Delivery Plan (ADP) outlines focus areas for 2024/25.
It has been designed around four well-being objectives: to work for communities, to support learning and economic growth, to aid people at home and in their community, and to respect and enrich the environment.
These objectives were first outlined in the 2020-25 corporate plan and this coming 12 months marks the final year of actions to achieve these goals.
The ADP also identifies three critical challenges: organisational resilience, cost of living crisis, and climate and nature emergencies, which will guide the council’s activities in the forthcoming year.
Alongside this, a new corporate plan for 2025-30 is to be drawn up within the next year, mapping points of priority for the later half of the decade.
Cllr Lis Burnett, leader of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, said: "We have faced many challenges in recent years but through the hard work and dedication of our colleagues and partners we have met these challenges head on.
"This Plan reflects the core principles that underpin our organisations."
Stakeholders will have the opportunity to scrutinise the plan's progress.
Quarterly reports will be issued to the council's committees, with public suggestions and queries welcomed at these meetings.
A public engagement and consultation process is also scheduled to run throughout the year.
The full plan is available for public viewing on the council's website.
