TRETHOMAS Bluebirds are set for Cymru South after being crowned as champions of Ardal SE.
The Bluebirds have had a remarkable season in which they have lost just once in the league - against Goytre last month - and they recorded a 25th win when beating Treowen 3-0 on Tuesday night.
Those three points ensured that Mark Dunford’s team cannot be caught by FAW Amateur Trophy winners Newport City.
Trethomas led 2-0 at the break thanks to goals by James Young and Gareth Tedstone, then secured the spoils thanks to Levi Rees’ strike.

Newport are now set to finish second, a placing that carries the prize of a promotion play-off against the runners-up in Ardal SW, set to be either Cefn Cribwr or Penrhiwceiber Rangers.
The Steelmen, who have a clash with Trethomas among their four remaining fixtures, continued their impressive form with a 3-0 win at Abercarn thanks to goals by Richard, Noyes, Louis Caramella-Gerrard and Owen Cuddihy.
Goytre ran out 4-1 winners against Aberbargoed and Caldicot edged out Hay St Marys 4-3.
