DINAS Powys FC have announced that Paul Giles has taken over as first team manager at the Murch club.
It will be Paul's second spell with Dinas after a successful first spell, which saw him take the club from the third division to the first division of the Welsh League.
Paul's professional career saw him play for Cardiff City, Exeter, Plymouth, Excelsior Rotterdam and FC Dortrecht in Holland and finally Newport County.
Paul is a manager of vast experience who has also managed at Barry Town, leading them to the Welsh Premier title, Inter Cardiff, Merthyr, Dinas Powys, Grange Quins and more recently Rhoose, who he took from the South Wales Amateur League into the Welsh League.
Assisting Paul will be a management team of ex-Cardiff City player Tony Bird, ex-Sully manager Steve Hill and Dickie Batt, the former Barry Town and Merthyr player.
The committee at Dinas Powys would like to wish Paul and his team all the best for the forthcoming season.
Dinas Powys FC are also looking for a new youth team manager to manage the under-18 team that play in the South Wales Youth League. Expressions of interest should be sent via email to Richie.garland@outlook.com
