SULLY SPORTS YOUTH 8

CARDIFF DRACONIANS 1

SULLY Sports Youth side had a convincing 8-1 victory over Cardiff Draconians last Sunday in the 2nd round of the Youth Cup on a fine but windy day at Sully sports ground.

The game started with both sides wondering what they were up against as they had not played each other before in recent times, and this produced a tight first 20 minutes with both teams producing some good quality football.

Sully eventually opened the scoring when Tayvian Ludvigsen broke through the Dracs defence and fired low into the net. This was quickly followed by another goal from Chris Bonney putting Sully into a two goal first half lead.

The second half saw Sully out of the blocks quickly and another fine goal by Tayvian put Sully further ahead and when Anthony Jones shredded a clever ball through the Dracs defence it was pounced on by James Greenslade who fired a shot into the top corner of the net effectively placing the game beyond the reach of the Cardiff men.

The Dracs pulled one back but by now were very much on the back foot and with Jacob Constant scoring with a fine header, James scoring a second and another by Jacob, Sully were taking every chance coming their way.

The game finished on a high for Sports when Daniel Bennett squared a ball into the box for Tayvian to finish with a goal which completed a fine hat tick for him and a good 8-1 win for the team with all the boys hoping this form can be repeated in the next round.
