DINAS Powys Ladies started off the 2008-09 season slowly, but have been on a rather impressive run of late with four consecutive victories.
The girls can now boast of having players from all four corners of the UK.
New signings this season have boosted the experience in the squad with former Cardiff City players Ceri Harvard, Kelly Tuck and Laura Murray signing.
Other new players include two ladies from the RAF ST Athan Camp, Holly Swanick (Liverpool) and Kristy O'Lynn (Ireland).
The squad has improved in quality over the summer months, and the standard of play is a joy to watch.
Latest signing on the coaching staff is Rhys Lloyd.
Rhys is a Barry boy studying sports development at UWIC in Cardiff. He has been a great help so far and has settled in well.
Dinas Ladies now have their own website which includes player profiles, fixtures results, latest news etc.
Visit www.clubwebsite.co.uk/dinaspowysladies01 The team also has a new captain, Emma Bridgman, while Jock David is club captain and ladies rep on the Dinas committee.
The future looks good for the girls, but more importantly the standard and discipline is first class!
Any girls who think they are good enough to challenge for a place should come along to training at Holm View on a Thursday evening at 7.45pm.
