GRIFFITHS Following my decision to retire, after nearly 35 years as Lollipop Lady for Murch Junior School, I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to headmaster Mr Derek Thomas, all members of staff, children, P.T.A. and parents of Murch Junior school for their kind gifts, cards and retirement good wishes. Many thanks also to Mr Charles Davies (retired headmaster) for his beautiful bouquet and Dinas Powys Infants P.T.A. for their kind gift. I would also thank the Vale Mayor and his wife for the beautiful basket of flowers and reception in his parlour. I will miss you all. Lots of love Joan Griffiths.
