COMEDIAN Lee Mack is set to embark on a brand new tour, Hit The Road Mack in autumn next year, playing some of the biggest theatres in the country, including St David's Hall, Cardiff on September 29 and 30, 2014.
Hit The Road Mack will be Lee’s first live stand-up show in four years and follows on from his twice-extended, critically acclaimed tour, Lee Mack: Going Out. Tickets will go on sale from 9am.
Lee Mack said: “Once again I'm very excited about the prospect of being able to eat Ginsters pasties alone and cold, in some empty service station, at three in the morning.”
Lee has established himself as one of the UK’s most recognisable and celebrated comedy stars. A busy year saw him return to BBC One with a sixth series of his hit sitcom Not Going Out, currently the BBC’s longest running sitcom; win a British Comedy Award for Best Male TV Comic; pen his own autobiography Mack the Life; return as resident team captain on the sixth series of Would I Lie To You? (BBC One); record a new comedy series for Sky One, Duck Quacks Don’t Echo, which is set to transmit in early 2014; and have the honour of co-presenting the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert live from Buckingham Palace (BBC One), which peaked at 16.9 million viewers.
