THIS year's Belle Vue Music in the Park event is on Sunday, July 14, and it looks set for another successful year of great music and fun.
The line-up once includes a wide selection of incredible local talent to appeal to all music tastes and ages. All bands and performers will be singing live in the park throughout the whole afternoon, starting at 2pm.
There will be plenty of attractions including games for children, bric-a-brac, bowls, coconut shy, BBQ and various food and drink stalls to keep all ages amused while the music is playing.
It is expected to once again be a fun, relaxing and memorable event for everyone.
The event, which takes place in Penarth’s Belle Vue Park on Albert Road, is run by the Friends of Belle Vue Park and this is the sixth year for the very popular music festival. Entrance is free with donations welcomed.
The band playing at the event are: The Snorklers, a great covers band from Penarth appearing at Music in Belle Vue park for the sixth consecutive year!
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, a close harmony duo performing swing style classics from the 40s and 50s.
The Woods, one of Penarth's original and most versatile covers bands with a big local following having attracted impressive accolades on the local music circuit.
SOS are regular stars at the Albion pub with their crowd stomping performances while Sochia Enos will be performing songs from the 90s and the 2000s.
Graffitti were formed in 1995 and described as South Wales' foremost covers band. Graffiti aim to appeal to a wide audience playing 100 per cent cover versions from quality artists from the 70s right through to current chart hits. This band covers them all!
Houdini Dax are a psychedelic garage rock band from Cardiff, comprising of Jack Butler (guitar and vocals), David Newington (drums and backing vocals) and Owen Richards (bass and backing vocals).
