BATES Sadie Moira Passed away suddenly but peacefully on 6th December 2023, aged 66 years, at University Hospital of Wales. Cherished and loved wife of Martin. Adored mum of Jack and Laura and mother-in-law of Adele and Rob. Treasured daughter of Doreen and the late Arthur. Sadie will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Resting at James Summers Funeralcare, Penarth until the Funeral Service on Friday 22nd December at 2pm at Cardiff and Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry. Family flowers only. Sadie was a dearly beloved school friend with whom I lost touch in the early 1980's after moving to work in east Africa. After finishing school, we spent many happy hours going around gardens, including those near Market Drayton, where she lived for a while. I had been looking for her on social media for the past few years, only now to find this very sad news. My heartfelt thoughts go to her family. Julie Adkins
