THE CHRISTMAS Coffee morning arranged by Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern is on Wednesday, December 10, in the Murchfield Hall on Sunnycroft Lane.
All are welcome to this free event, with doors opening at 10.30am.
The Murch Junior School choir will be providing the entertainment and other attractions will include cake and bric-a-brac stalls and a raffle.
Chairman of Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern John Fanshaw said that the charity was committed to encouraging a wide cross section of the community to join in its activities.
He said: “This coffee morning is one of a range of activities that we organise. We would be delighted to see new faces, as well as old friends.
"We have had a very busy year. The annual volunteers’ garden party, the fun quiz and the Strawberry Tea are just a few events.
"We would be delighted to have a chat with anyone who wishes to learn more about how DPVC helps our community. The next Community Club will be in the Lee Hall, Britway Road on Monday, December 15, when we will have a Christmas sing along. Further details from 02920 513700 or dpvc@btinternet.com."
