SIBLINGS Colin Jackson and Suzanne Packer visited the Marie Curie Cardiff and the Vale Hospice on Friday, July 31, to meet day therapy unit patients.
Acclaimed Welsh hurdler Colin and Casualty actress Suzanne, who both attended Llanedeyrn High School, shared tales from their childhood growing up locally in the Cardiff area.
Patients attending the day therapy unit asked Colin and Suzanne various questions about their careers.
Colin shared stories about his training as a young athlete and TV work with sport stars including Usain Bolt.
Suzanne told the audience about treading the boards in school plays at Llanedeyrn High School and playing the character of Tess Bateman alongside Casualty stalwart Derek Thompson, who plays Charlie Fairhead.
The group was also fascinated as Colin spoke of his involvement in the hit BBC One genealogy show ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’, which followed his ancestral roots back to Jamaica and Panama.
