FASHIONISTAS of all ages and sizes are set to be on trend as a unique ladies’ boutique arrives in High Street, Barry, on Saturday, September 5.
The Bees Knee’s boutique is all set to welcome Vale mayor, Christine Cave - to declare the store open - as other traders join them to celebrate the latest addition to the popular independent shopping quarter.
The store also will be raising funds to support the family of 10-month-old Reign Miller-Hardy, of Barry, who is urgently in need of a bone marrow transplant.
The business was originally founded in 1986 by Jayne Van Praag who was best known for bringing some of the most interesting and important Spanish and French designers to South Wales.
Mrs Van Praag, whose outlet was in Station Road, Dinas Powys, always had a big passion and love for all her customers - ensuring they were head to toe dressed to impress, but without the huge price tag.
Her mantra was that looking good and feeling amazing should always be affordable.
