A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

JASON DONOVAN, 37, of John Batchelor Way, Penarth, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted failing to provide a specimen.

He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

KIERON YOUNG, 38, of Bassett Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £502 in a fine, costs and surcharge after he pleaded guilty to allowing premises in Trem Elai, Penarth, to be used for the production of cannabis.

EARL NESTA HERON, 36, of Mariner's Heights, Penarth, was sentenced to a community order and told to complete a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement after he admitted a public order offence.

He was also ordered to pay £308 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

LISA JAYNE CRANDON, 49, of Harbour Road, Barry, was banned from driving for 26 months after she pleaded guilty to being nearly three times the drink-drive limit in Dinas Powys.

She was also ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and pay £180 in costs and a surcharge.

STUART HOCKEY, 76, of Brookside, Dinas Powys, was ordered to pay £811 in a fine, costs and surcharge and his licence endorsed with six points for driving without insurance in Barry.

AARON NICHOLAS STAVRAKIS, 32, of Hayes Road, Sully, was ordered to pay £811 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver.

His licence was endorsed with six points.

IESTYN WILLIS, 22, of St Baruch Close, Dinas Powys, was ordered to pay £270 in a fine, costs and surcharge for speeding at 31mph in a 20mph zone.

His licence was endorsed with four points.

JOHANNA MAY SCOTT, 65, of Cardiff Road, Dinas Powys, was ordered to pay £183 in a fine, costs and surcharge for speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone in Barry.

Her licence was endorsed with three points.
