A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
LAUREN ELIZABETH BAILEY, 23, of Wordsworth Avenue, Penarth, was banned from driving for 16 months after she admitted drink-driving, driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
She was ordered to pay £244 in fines, costs and a surcharge.

DYLAN JAMES LOCKYER, 19, of Greenway Close, Llandough, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drug-driving with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, a breakdown product of cannabis, in his blood.
He was fined £150 and ordered to pay a £30 surcharge.
CRAIG THOMAS, 27, of Parc Prison, Bridgend, was jailed for four weeks and ordered to pay £200 in compensation after he pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment in Penarth.
LEE GARETH LAWDAY, 38, of St Luke's Avenue, Penarth, was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, after he pleaded guilty to having a knife in public and a Malicious Communications Act.
He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and complete a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
Lawday must also pay a £128 surcharge and £85 costs.
GARETH STEPHEN NORTHCOTT, 37, of Windsor Road, Penarth, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
ANDREW PETER CRATES, 40, of Cwrt Llandough, Llandough, was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone on Cardiff’s North Road.
His driving record was endorsed with three points.
ANNES ELWY LEWIS, 28, of Victoria Road, Penarth, was ordered to pay £207 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 37mph in a 30mph zone on Cardiff’s North Road.
Her driving record was endorsed with three points.
