A NUMBER of roads have heavy surface water around the Barry, Penarth and Vale areas.
Natural Resources Wales have issued a flood warning for the Cadoxton River at Dinas Powys.
Due to the relentless heavy rain over recent days, the Dock View Road is under water as is Fford Millennium, the A48 and B4265, Maslin Park and Island Road.

Several other streets around Barry have surface water, and a number of streets in Penarth and Dinas Powys are flooded.
South Wales Fire Service were turning people around on Cardiff Road, Dinas Powys according to Leanne Woodin.

South Wales Police have put out a warning to take care and only travel if necessary.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council have advised of a number of flood alerts.
