THERE is a yellow weather warning for heavy rain for the whole of the Vale of Glamorgan this week, with potential for flooding in some areas.
Residents across the Vale are expected to see significant rainfall from Monday evening at 11pm until Thursday at midday.
Approximately 30-60 mm of rainfall is expected to fall widely across the warning area, with the potential for up to 150-200 mm across the region’s most exposed hills.
Strong winds will also accompany the rainfall and may add to travelling difficulties across the area’s higher and more exposed routes.
