THE Vale council has unveiled new car parking charges in the region.
This will not come into effect until the Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted across Wales.
It was announced in October of last year that the council would press ahead with plans to introduce parking charges.
A Vale of Glamorgan Council spokesperson said: "Car parking charges are to be introduced at Cosmeston and Porthkerry Country Parks, Wyndham Street, Barry and Town Hall, Cowbridge.

"This matter has been fully considered by the Council's Cabinet and Scrutiny Committees following a statutory consultation period relating to the implementation of Traffic Regulation Orders.
"However, these charges will not take effect until Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted, ticket machines have been installed and appropriate displacement parking controls implemented in the case of Cosmeston Country Park."
