A DRINK driver was banned for 18 months after he was caught by police in Penarth.
Paul Equall, 25, of Harriet Street, Cogan, pleaded guilty to the charge before Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
He committed the offence in a Kia Ceed car on June 3.
Equall gave a reading of 61micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
He was fined £350 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £35 surcharge.
