PENARTH is set for a scorcher of a weekend as temperatures soar to 24 degrees by Saturday.
According to Met Office weather forecasters Penarth is on track for a marked change to much more settled and warm weather, as an area of high pressure becomes slow-moving across much of the UK and Ireland.
The Vale can enjoy fine and dry weather meaning long sunny spells. This is welcome news after weeks of rain.
