THE VALE of Glamorgan Walking Festival, now in its eleventh year, is back this September.
From 7 to the 12 September, there are various walks all over the Vale of Glamorgan area from Llantwait Major, Cosmeston to Cowbridge.
Organised by the charity Valeways volunteers, they are working to ensure the sustainability of the festival in future years.
Booking is required and then walkers can turn up at the stated meeting place and time where you will be greeted by a named walk leader. The festival will feature a series of walks over five days from different centres in the Vale.

There are walks for all ages and abilities. No matter if you are an experienced walker, a leisure walker or a family there will be something for you. The festival will also include outdoor activities for families.
