THE Met Office is predicting a cold end to the week as temperatures are set to drop even lower.
More sunshine is expected in the latter half of the week, but the trade-off is that it will feel colder than it is.
Thursday, February 10
The sun will be out but the temperature will drop.
It will get as warm as seven degrees in the afternoon, but it will feel like four degrees.
At night, it will feel as cold as one degree but will actually be four degrees.
The afternoon will be sunny, with the late morning and early afternoon being cloudy with the sun breaking through.
Friday, February 11
It will be much the same on Friday as there will be more sunshine in the morning but it will remain cold.
The highest temperature will be seven degrees again, but in the morning it will be around two degrees.
The coldest points will feel like minus one degree.
Wind speeds will be at their lowest point all week, with the fastest gusts on Friday being 16 miles per hour.
