TWO speeding drivers from Penarth have appeared in court in the last week.
Brenda Barbara Beedell, 55, of Arcot Street, Penarth, was found guilty of speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 21.
She was caught doing 35mph on the A4161 Newport Road junction with Colchester Avenue, where the limit is 30mph, on September 6. She was fined £220 and given three points on her licence. She also has to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Rosemarie Marnell, 48, of Rhodfar Morwydd, Penarth, pleaded guilty to speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 21.
She was caught doing 35mph on Greenway Road on September 3. The limit on the road is 30mph. She was fined £66 and given three points on her licence. She also has to pay a £34 surcharge.
