PUBLIC Health Wales have said that there has been another Covid-related death in the Cardiff and Vale area, taking the toll in the area up to 930.
There have been four deaths in Wales over the past three days, including the one death in the Cardiff and Vale area.
This is a remarkable reduction considering that the set of stats released before this stated that 27 people across the country had died in one day.
Since the start of the pandemic, 7,126 people have died because of Covid in Wales.
The Vale of Glamorgan has recorded 205 new cases, while Cardiff has recorded 583.
Including residents outside of Wales, there are 4,853 new cases in all of Wales.
Both Cardiff and the Vale have case rates above the average for Wales, which is 150 cases per 100,000 people.
However, this is relatively marginal, with Cardiff having a case rate of 158.9 and the Vale having a case rate of 153.5.
