Mint and Mustard
Mint and Mustard on Windsor Terrace came on top with our readers. Their wide range of curries are popular with our readers. The staff are highly rated for their attitude with Carol-Anne Harris saying: “Lovely staff.”
Nicola Watkins said: “Consistently great food, always delivered hot.” Matthew Cochrane echoed this and also praised the vegetarian options available.

Mo’s
Mo’s on Station Approach in Penarth is an Indian restaurant and takeaway popular with residents. Like Mint and Mustard, staff at Mo’s were praised for their welcome.
“Always lovely food and a pleasant welcome when you walk in the door,” said Michael Yorke. Rowena Shaw agreed, saying: “The food is absolutely delicious, friendly staff too.”

The Royal India
Over on Cardiff Road in Dinas Powys, the Royal India is a popular choice with a number saying it was their favourite place to go for an Indian. They use locally sourced produce and open Monday-Sunday with the exception of Tuesdays.

The Clay Pit
The Clay Pit on Plassey Street is one of the popular takeaways for our readers. They provide a range of Asian dishes including a wide range of vegetarian options. Our readers said that they have ‘never had a bad dish from them.’

Wishful House
Wishful House on Cornerswell Road is popular for its Chinese dishes. It is another that was highly recommended for the staff. Gareth Long said how he used to have “great food” and “friendly staff.” Paul Fudge added that “food is excellent every time.”
Paramount Penarth
Another Indian restaurant and takeaway on Station Approach that got our readers talking was Paramount Penarth. Ruby Atlanta said: “Always the best Indian and so welcoming and cosy.” Mike Hooper added that the takeaway was “as good as sitting in.”
