EASTER is over and it brought a fair amount of sunshine and warmth this Bank Holiday.

But the question is, will this weather remain for the rest of the week?

The Met Office has released its forecast for the rest of the week and this is how things are looking to shape up.

Tuesday, April 19 (today)

The rest of the day is looking to be very nice, with sunshine and intermittent clouds predicted until 5pm, where it just becomes clouds.

However, there will be rain at around 9pm tonight, though thankfully this shouldn't last for long.

The temperature will hit heights of 13 degrees celsius this afternoon, starting at 3pm before beginning to cool off at 7pm.

Another bonus for most of us - there's unlikely to be much wind.

Wednesday, April 20

Much will be the same tomorrow with a cloudy morning with breaks into intervals of sunshine in the afternoon.

The intervals of sunshine will begin at midday and will continue until 8pm.

Wind speed will be slightly higher in the morning, but will die down in the afternoon.

It is predicted to be warmer, with temperatures reaching a high of 15 degrees from 3pm through 6pm.

However, throughout the day it may feel a degree or two colder than that.

There is very little chance of rain, apart from a slight possibilty from midnight until 3am.

Thursday, April 21

Thursday is a bit of a mixed bag in that it is likely to be sunnier but it will also feel colder.

Another high of 15 degrees is predicted but it may feel like it is 12 degrees instead.

In fact, for most of the day it will feel about three degrees colder than the actual temperature.

It will be sunny at 10am and at 1pm, though it will become cloudy at 4pm.

The wind is predicted to pick up slightly with gusts topping out at 23 miles per hour at 1pm.

There is also a 10 per cent chance of rain at 4pm and 7pm.

Friday, April 22

Things take a slight downward turn on Friday as the sun disappears.

The day is predicted to be cloudy and it is likely to be overcast at 1pm and 4pm.

During this period, there is a 10 per cent chance of rain.

The wind will be continuing its trend of getting more powerful and will peak at 30mph at 10am and 1pm.

It will also be slightly colder, with highs of 14 degrees predicted.

Again, it will feel colder by three or four degrees.
