TEN speeding Vale drivers have been punished in court recently.
Jack Cafaro, 23, of Rock Road, St Athan, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 19.
He was caught on December 6 doing 36mph on Buttrills Road in Barry, outside Sant Curig Primary School – which has a limit of 20mph. He was fined £266 and given four points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Andrew Paul Herrod, 56, of Romilly Park Road, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 13.
He was caught on October 4 doing 47mph on the A48 Bonvilston – which has a limit of 40mph. He was fined £66 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge.
Stephanie Pearce, 43, of Scott Close, St Athan, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 20.
She was caught on October 10 doing 40mph on Eglwys Brewis Road in St Athan – which has a limit of 30mph. She was fined £100 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 costs.
Kacper Marek Kaminski, 35, of Meadow Vale, Barry, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 13.
He was caught on October 17 doing 51mph on Newport Road, Rumney Hill – which has a limit of 30mph. He was fined £520 and given six points on his licence. He also had to pay £53 surcharge.
Michael Paul Mills, 44, of Stanwell Road, Penarth, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 13.
He was caught on September 30 doing 57mph on the M4 near Port Talbot – which has a limit of 50mph. He was fined £220 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Paul Down, 44, of Cilgant y Meillion, Rhoose, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 13.
He was caught on September 20 doing 48mph on A4119 at the junction with School Road – which has a limit of 40mph. He was fined £220 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Robert Paul Purser, 60, of Harvey Street, Barry, was found guilty of speeding at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 20.
He was caught on October 5 doing 45mph on North Road – which has a limit of 30mph. He was fined £440 and given five points on his licence. He also had to pay £44 surcharge and £90 costs.
Roehl Sevillano, 48, of Ffordd y Mileniwm, Barry, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 20.
He was caught on October 13 doing 37mph on North Road – which has a limit of 30mph. He was fined £220 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Rachel Sarah Jones, 48, of Marloes Close, Barry, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 20.
She was caught on October 9 doing 35mph on Skomer Road – which has a limit of 30mph. She was fined £220 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Darryl Brown, 30, of Castle Road, Rhoose was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates' Court on April 13.
He was caught on October 5 doing 45mph on Cowbridge Road link road to Coychurch Road – which has a limit of 30mph. He was fined £440 and given five points on his licence. He also had to pay £44 surcharge and £90 costs.
