A ROUND UP of the latest Penarth residents to appear in court to be sentenced.
All cases are from June 22, 2022 onwards.
Kasim Abdul Gehlan, 24, of St Pauls Avenue, was fined for using a vehicle without insurance.
Gehlan pleaded guilty to using an electric scooter without third party insurance on Penlan Road in Llandough on October 31, 2020.
He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge as well as £85 in costs.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
Jordan Keith Williams, 26, of Wain Close, was fined for two separate incidents.
On October 12, 2021, Williams exceeded the 30mph limit at the A4161 Newport Road junction with Rover Way in Cardiff.
He pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £80.
He was also ordered to pay £110 in costs and a victim surcharge of £34.
His driving record was endorsed with four points.
Williams also pleaded guilty to speeding on Newport Road in Cardiff on November 2, 2021.
For this offence he was fined £40 and he collected three more points on his driving record.

Stephen Brown, 35, of Marconi Avenue was caught speeding in Cardiff and was fined.
Brown was caught on a speed camera exceeding the 30mph limit on at the A4161 Newport Road junction with Colchester Avenue on January 10, 2022.
His guilt was proved via the Single Justice Procedure and he was fined £220.
He collected three penalty points on his driving record and he was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 as well as £90 in costs.
Ann Marie Penberthy, 43, of St Garmon Road was hit with a fine.
Penberthy failed to give the identity of a driver of a car that was suspected to have committed an offence.
It was proved via the Single Justice Procedure that she did not give the required information at the Central Ticket Office in Treforest on December 15, 2021.
She was fined £519 for the offence and ordered to pay £51 to fund victim's services.
Penberthy was also ordered to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £110.
Her driving record was endorsed with six points.
