PENARTH Operatic and Dramatic Society is on the hunt for cast members and backstage volunteers, and are welcoming people in to see what it is like to be part of a panto performance.
The society, known widely as PODS, will be holding a preview of their upcoming panto production The Snow Queen on Thursday, August 18.
The show is being written and directed by BAFTA winner Andy Bradshaw, who will lead the presentation.
Anybody can attend the presentation, whether their interests lie in performing, working backstage or getting involved with the pre-production work for the show.
PODS head of musicals and the show's co-director, Kim Herniman and the new head of music, Clare Gardner, will assist Mr Bradshaw in the presentation.
The presentation will be held at 7.30pm at The Conservative Club on Stanwell Road on Thursday, August 18.
The Snow Queen is a take on the classic Hans Christian Anderson story and will follow the story of Gerda, a girl who tries to rescue her friend Kai from the villainous Snow Queen.
The panto will run at the Paget Rooms from November 30 to December 4.
Tickets are already on sale and they can be bought online here.
