THE Wizz Air Cardiff Half Marathon is returning this weekend and several roads will be closed to accommodate the race.
The race will be held on Sunday, October 2, and will begin at 10am.
Although most of the roads closed will be in Cardiff, there is some overlap into the Vale.
Penarth Road, which runs through Penarth, will be closed.
The road skirts round Penarth Marina before becoming Terra Nova Way and Penarth Portway.
The route then turns down to Cardiff Bay Barrage, which will also be closed.
In Cardiff, many roads will be closed all day but some will only be closed at certain times.

Bute Street, Wellington Street, Sloper Road, Windsor Road, Tyndall Street, Richmond Road, Albany Road, Ninian Road, Lake Road East, Lake Road West, Fairoak Road and Cathays Terrace will be fully or partially closed for the race.
North Road will be closed between 6am and 10.45am and Castle Street will be closed between 4am and midday.
Wizz Air have asked for those attending to allow extra time for travel and to plan their route in advance.
The organisers have also asked attendees to be careful in areas of shared road use and to be aware that many roads used by the course will be open within one or two hours of the start of the race.
