COFFI Co in Penarth will be offering free coffee throughout this week.
The business, in partnership with events company Speakeasy Club, has made the promise to coincide with Mental Health Day.
Although Mental Health Day was on Monday, October 10, the business will be offering free coffee to the community until Friday, October 14.
The idea is to get people talking to each other and potentially opening up about any mental health struggles they have experienced.
Anybody who gets a free drink are invited to take a picture of themselves their Coffi Co cup and Speakeasy sticker to use in a social media post of their choice.
They are asked to tag @speakeasuclub1 & @coffico in said social media post.
Simon Clarke, founder and director of Speakeasy Club said: "Driving meaningful conversations is at the heart of everything we do here at Speakeasy Club.
"If even one of those coffees helps someone open up about their mental health struggles this week then this campaign has been totally worth it.
"Every event we orgnanise is designed to provide a relaxed environment where people can speak freely about any anxieties or struggles they may be facing.
"Having suffered from depression myself, I could not be more passionate about making a difference”.
Aimee Jackson from Coffi Co said: “We jumped at the chance to partner with Speakeasy Club on this wonderful initiative, and can’t wait to brighten up people’s days and get the conversations flowing."
