A POPULAR live nativity performance is returning to the people of Penarth.
Cosmeston lakeside will once again be transformed to Bethlehem 2020 years ago - it’s been advised to beware of wild shepherds, Kings on a mission, a bad Herod and a really impressive Gabriel…
The live Christmas nativity will take place at 4pm on Sunday December 11.
Last year over 200 children and adults watched the 2021 performance, with more expected this year.
There will be a live outdoor authentic production of the nativity at lakeside.
One of those involved in the production, Mark Frost said: “The lakeside setting enables the large crowd to enjoy our narrated story told with the help of music and striking lighting.
“One of the highlights no doubt will be the involvement of many families and children who may well get involved in the shepherds and angels visitation to the manger.”
Over 45 cast and crew will make the live event happen and it’s all free to the local Penarth community.
In addition visitors will be offered free refreshments and a family Christmas pack.
