THE owner of an American bulldog has been fined after the animal injured someone.
Jennifer Lumb, of Burdons Close, Wenvoe, was in Cardiff Magistrates Court charged with being the owner of a dog dangerously out of control which caused injury, contrary to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
The court heard how Lumb’s 18-month-old blue and white bulldog injured a man at Wenvoe in January of this year.
Lumb, 32, previously pleaded not guilty to the charge on November 10.
However, at Cardiff Magistrates today, December 22, Lumb, pleaded guilty.
She was fined £120 and ordered to pay £300 compensation. She’ll also pay a £34 surcharge.
The outstanding debt will be paid at a rate of £20 a month.
