A BRAND new play park is coming to Penarth.
Vale of Glamorgan Council will be reopening St Davids Play Area, on St Davids Crescent tomorrow, January 26, after a snazzy new revamp.
Photos show a bright and colourful new play park, with enormous flowers printed on the ground and new swings and slides in place.
(The playpark has been upgraded by Vale Council)
(The park is located on the town's St Davids Crescent)
Albeit in gloomy conditions when the pictures were taken, the park will be a welcome beacon of light to the eastern side of the town and offer a great place for kids to play.
Along with the park, the Vale has plans to rewild areas of Saint Cyres Park.
(The council will open it tomorrow, January 26)
(The Vale's plans, which include rewilding areas of the land)
Vale Council invited everyone in the area to come to the opening tomorrow.
“We are pleased to announce that upgrade works at St Davids Play Area, Penarth are due to be completed later this week,” the council said on Twitter.
“Join us at the opening to enjoy the new site and chat with the team about plans to rewild the adjoining land.”
