HAVE you ever wondered what your neighbours garden is like, or what the garden in that house down the bottom of the street look like? Well, now could be your chance to find out.
For the 28th year, the successful Penarth Garden Trails will be running, and now they’re looking for gardens to participate.
If your garden a showstopper or something you work tirelessly on and you want people to appreciate the work, then this is the event for you.
The Penarth Garden Trail will be held on July 22 and 23, with residents and visitors of the town given the opportunity to step into the gorgeous gardens of one of Wales’ seaside gems.
Organiser Jon Dewis says it is a lovely day out.
“People come to my garden with a glass of wine and they are still there an hour later,” said Mr Dewis.
“There’s no time limit for how long you have to be in a garden, no time pressures. We have hundreds come from all over and it’s a good day out.”

Tickets for adults are £5 and children go free, with all proceeds from the event going to the Children’s Society Charity, which aims to help improve the lives of children and young people.
Tickets are roving, which means they give access to every garden on both days as well as Penarth allotments and Cosmeston medieval garden.
The event runs until 6pm on the days and if your garden is part of the trial you will be asked to help sell tickets.
There are currently 12 gardens involved already but there is no limit on the amount that can come aboard – normally there are around 20.
