THE annual Remembrance parade returns to Penarth next month a day before the traditional Armistice Day.
Remembrance Day falls on Saturday, November 11, and the parade will be held in the town centre on Sunday, November 12.
Members of the public are advised to arrive at Rectory Road at 9.45am as the parade will form at 10am outside the Garden of Remembrance.
Here is all you need to know about the event:
9:45 am – Public to arrive at Rectory Road
10 am – Parade to form outside the Garden of Remembrance
10:10 am – Proceedings at Garden of Remembrance – Wreaths will be laid
After the proceeds, the parade will march through town to All Saints Church for Act of Remembrance
10:45 am – People should arrive at the Church at this time.
Following the Church Parade the Penarth Veterans team will march through the town to Penarth Ex Serviceman’s Club, where people are invited to join them to raise a toast to absent friends.
