PENARTH is set to turn into a winter wonderland as Christmas festival comes to the town centre on Thursday, December 14.
The Penarth Business Group is hosting Christmas in Penarth with local shops staying open late providing an opportunity to find unique gifts, festive decorations, and special offers.
Throughout the town, there will be live music, free seasonal samples from food shops and Santa’s workshop.
A North Pole post office will also be introduced for children to write letters to Santa there will also be prizes for taking part in the Christmas Trails.
Christmas trails began on Sunday, November 19, and will run until Monday, December 18. The first, a Christmas Window Trail, will invite people to guess the Christmas songs behind decorated windows.
The second, titled Christmas Anagrams, challenges the public to solve anagrams for a chance to win shopping vouchers.
In addition to the heart-warming experiences, the streets of Penarth will be filled with the sweet sounds of live music from local schools, setting the perfect festive backdrop.
