A PENARTH singer will perform a show in his hometown this weekend.
John Lewis will be bringing his Rockin Rooty’s rockabilly show at The Clive Arms pub in John Street, Penarth, on Saturday, December 16
Mr Lewis will be performing in a solo capacity with his guitar and voice. He will be performing a mix of Americana, Blues, Country and Rock and Roll.
He has performed in places such as Moscow, Russia and Melbourne Australia and is now set to perform in his hometown.
Early in his singing career with The Rimshots he recorded several albums and won the British Country Music Award for Album of the Year.
He is endorsed by BBC Six Music DJ, Tom Robinson and BBC Radio’s Steve Lamacq, Welsh singer Adam Walton and music legends Wanda Jackson and Van Morrison.
The solo tour will allow music lovers to see him perform in a much more stripped-down and intimate environment. The event on Saturday will start at 7.30 pm
