FUNKY Monkey in Penarth has announced it is closing.
However, it might not be the end of Funky Monkey business as the store says it is relocating to Barry.
Funky Monkey sells organic cotton kid's clothing, toys and gifts.
In sad news for Penarth’s high street, it looks like another store will be left empty, with Funky Money saying they are running a closing down sale from today, February 23, and it is set to finish promptly at 5pm on February 28.
Then they will be “shortly” moving to Barry's High Street.
A family business established in 2015, they say they are passionate about delivering the highest customer service and beautiful high-quality products.
In a statement on their Facebook page, Funky Monkey said they will continue to trade at their stores in Cirencester and on their website.
The statement went: “After nine wonderful years in Windsor Road our time has come to an end at this location, and it’s somebody else’s chance to call the shop ‘home’.
