Two independent opticians have joined forces in Whitchurch, Cardiff to secure the future of community eyecare.
Julian Davies Opticians and Bateman Opticians - both located on Merthyr Road - have merged their practices.
After a short closure and a refurbishment on March 4, they re-opened from the premises at 32 Merthyr Road on March 5.
It is aimed for patients to enjoy the same high standard of eyecare along with an extended range of eyewear brands including Prada, Hugo Boss and Rayban.
All patient records have been transferred securely and confidently to the new premises, which is now operating under the name Julian Davies Opticians.
Director of Julian Davies Opticians, Chris Tannorella, said: "All of the team are really excited for this merger, it's a fantastic opportunity to combine two practices who really value offering a personalised eyecare service."
The practice is planning an official reopening event on April 5 for the community and will have some exclusive offers.
Established in 1992 in Newport, Julian Davies Opticians serves the South Wales community. More information can be found at the Julian Davies Opticians website.
