A Penarth schoolboy has broken two more football world records just five months after breaking his first at the Cardiff City Stadium in November.
James Taylor, 11, broke his first world record attempt for the most shoulder rolls in 60 seconds in front of thousands of fans at the match between Cardiff City and Norwich City on Saturday, November 11.
Now, nearly five months later and three weeks before his 12th birthday he has broken a further two records and met his football freestyling idol Ash Randall.
The aspiring footballer recently broke two world records for the most ‘Hotsteppers.’ in 30 seconds. The previous record for the ball control tricks was held by his idol Ash Randall.
Mum, Yvonne told the Penarth Times that it was him ambition to get more world records and meet his football freestyling hero Ash Randell before his 12th birthday on Sunday, April 28.
She said: “It is crazy that he has broken the records, it’s his third one and he has worked so hard for them and we are incredibly proud of him that he has achieved this and met his idol at Cardiff City.
“He told us it was his ambition to break more world records before his 12th birthday and to meet his idol and he has achieved those and smashed a further two world records.
“He was so keen to bring the title back to Wales and to be part of his school St David’s Day Eisteddfod celebrations and he's delighted to achieve this with his idol.”
The Stanwell School pupil managed to break both world records for the most hot steppers in both 30 seconds and 60 seconds.
Following his success, he was invited by Ash Randell to perform his freestyling skills at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Taylor also met Cardiff City boss Erol Bulut and Wales footballer Aaron Ramsey following the event and even met the new First Minister Vaughan Gething at the Senedd.
“He is so determined and is planning to break more records, and he is very committed to football freestyling and wants to do his own shows.”
His mum added: “He is a big Cardiff City fan, and the team invited him to participate with Ash Randell which was his dream come true.
“During an interview at the Easter Fun Day at the Cardiff City Stadium, he met the manager, Aaron Ramsey and other members of the team.
