An exhibition will launch next month showcasing past and present Cardiff families.
The gallery event will be held at Glamorgan Archives, featuring ten canvas prints of local families, each paired with an audio minidrama.
The family-friendly launch event is scheduled for 4pm-6.30pm on Wednesday, May 15.
This innovative exhibition is a result of two halves of a community outreach project.
Writers Danielle Fahiya and Kyle Lima created 'From May to Etta, with Love,' - six 5-minute audio dramas inspired by 1910 photographic portraits from the archive.
In parallel, 'From Us to the Future' captured the voice and image of contemporary Cardiff families.
Senior archivist at Glamorgan Archives, Rhian Diggins, described the project as an occasion to showcase the diversity of Cardiff and its docklands community.
"It's been wonderful to work with Applied Stories and with Cardiff families and creatives, to highlight this amazing collection of early-20th century photographs of Cardiff's docklands community, and bring them right up to date through the creation of contemporary versions."
Visitors can browse the photographs, and scan the embedded QR codes with their mobile devices for an immersive historical journey.
The launch is free but tickets should be booked at Eventbrite.
