There will be a vintage party in Llandaff to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
Welsh charity, Calon Hearts, is organising the family-friendly event on June 1 to mark the special day.
The party, to be held at the Llandaff Rowing Club from 11am to 7pm, will feature fairground rides, face-painting, vintage craft and food stalls, with entertainment throughout the day.
For more than 11 years, Calon Hearts has contributed to heart health in Wales, installing more than 28,700 defibrillators across the community, providing CPR training to more than 99,300 people, and screening 16,500 hearts for life-threatening conditions.
To further its mission to save lives and reduce heart condition-related deaths, the charity is now offering free heart screenings to all 16-25-year-olds.
Appointments can be booked online or by calling 02922 402670.
This initiative is thanks to the Ben McDonald Heart Screening Fund.
