THE Queen B Boutique was crowned Women's Boutique of the Year at the Welsh Independent Retail Awards 2024.

The award highlights the Boutique's commitment to offering designer fashion wear and exceptional customer service.

Along with the Queen B, another high street store was recognised at the awards.

Apothecary64 picked up highly commended accreditation at the award ceremony hosted at the Mercure Hotel, Cardiff, on June 10.

The Queen B won big at the Independent Retail Awards 2024 snapping up Women's Boutique of the Year.

Winning the award is a testament to The Queen B Boutique’s creation of an independent Boutique that offers diverse, top-quality fashion on the high street and online, making it accessible and affordable for everyone.

Owner and founder Jodie Tanner expressed immense gratitude for this significant achievement, reflecting on the hard work and passion of the entire team and the loyalty of the wonderful customers.

"We are incredibly honoured to receive this award," said Ms Tanner.

"Our mission has always been to create a space where women can feel confident and find fashion that speaks to their individuality. This recognition motivates us to continue delivering excellence."

Since its opening in 2009, The Queen B Boutique has been a cornerstone of fashion in Penarth and beyond.

Known for its personalised shopping experience, the Boutique has become a destination for Mother of the Bride outfits and fashion enthusiasts.

Things looking bright for Apothecary64 after award nod

Another winner at the award ceremony was Apothecary 64, which was ‘highly commended’ and shows signs of a turn in fortunes after owner Craig Parker-Trott previously questioned whether he would keep his store, on Cornerswells Road, open.

Mr Parker-Trott wrote on Facebook: “This will soon be proudly on display in the shop - off frame hunting later! Thank you again, this really means so much to me.”
