DID anyone see the daring landing of the air ambulance on Penarth beachfront when a multi-agency response was delivered to someone who got in trouble in the water?
Dramatic photos show the famous Wales Air Ambulance laned on the slipway of Penarth RNLI station.
The photos were posted on Facebook on June 18.
Penarth RNLI, South Wales Police, Welsh Air Ambulance and the coastguard all assisted in recovering a person from the water.
A spokesperson for Penarth RNLI paid tribute to the public who were described as key in rescuing the person.
Penarth RNLI said: “We would like to thank members of the public who were vital in locating the person and assisted the lifeboat today.”
Barry Dock RNLI assist yacht in difficulty
Barry Dock RNI say the incident involved a yacht aground at Llantwit Major beach.
On Wednesday, June 19, using the new Shannon class lifeboat, the team went to ensure the well-being of the occupants on-board.
As the yacht was aground with an out-going tide, the teams from Llantwit Major Coastguard were on scene to ensure the safety of the vessel and those on board.
