A UTLITIES company is investigating the issue of discoloured water which is affecting residents in one area of Penarth.
Dwr Cymru Welsh Water is investigating an issue of discoloured water which has been affecting residents in the Sully area of Penarth on Sunday, July 7.
Dwr Cymru has said: "We're aware that customers in this area are affected by discoloured water.
"We expect all supplies to be fully restored by later this afternoon.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
The issue was first reported to the company at around 1pm on Sunday, July 7, with an estimated completion date listed as 7pm on Sunday.
After Stage 1 investigations, the company will locate the fault, repair it, restore or reinstate the network to normal, and provide a final update.
The utilities company has also advised customers to run the cold water tap in the kitchen to help "clear any discolouration in your supply."
Discoloured water has also been reported near the Morristown area of Penarth near Stanwell Road and Victoria Square (see above).
