Vale Neighbourhood Policing Team has held events to thank volunteers of a community garden.

In collaboration with Vale Homes and Value in the Vale, two events were organised to appreciate volunteers involved in the Crawshay Court Community Garden Project.

The first occasion at Crawshay Court Community Garden featured a community barbecue, a singer and outdoor games.

The subsequent event was at Ysgol y Ddraig Primary School.

The school's Community Champions group and Vale Plus, Llantwit Major, were treated to a picnic.

This was to recognise both entities for their partnership work in the community garden.

On both occasions, Lianne from Value in the Vale presented the Community Champions group with tokens of appreciation for their exceptional support to the community.

This community garden project aims to connect diverse community groups for the betterment of the larger community.

Harvested crops from the garden are being gifted to Crawshay Court tenants, Vale Plus, and Foodshare Pantry Llantwit Major.
