A FAMOUS resident of Penarth has added a new string to his bow becoming a presenter on TV show Homes Under the Hammer.
Owain Wyn Evans has already been a weatherman, a drumming sensation and – if you didn’t know already – a talented house renovator.
Owain regularly posts on his Instagram his house renovation exploits including having done a house in Penarth – have you not seen the disco ball that comes down from the ceiling darling?
This talent must be part of the reason that, in the latest series (series 27!) HUTH has recruited Owain to help present.
The BBC Radio 2 presenter said he can’t wait to find out what he will discover.
“What can I say, I love a transformation dahlings!”, said Owain.
“I've renovated several homes over the years and have not been afraid to get my hands dirty in the process.
“I love getting inspiration from others and seeing the before and after really does make this a dream job for me.
“I’ve watched Homes Under the Hammer for years and it is such an iconic show.
“Now pass me a sturdy boot and a hard hat, I can't wait to discover more fabulous home transformations with the team!”
A spokesperson for Homes Under the Hammer said: “The new series welcomes brand new property expert Owain Wyn Evans who will join Martin Roberts, Dion Dublin, Martel Maxwell, Jacqui Joseph and Tommy Walsh, with Owain to appear on screens later this year.”
