A PENARTH boy has shown his football talent again breaking another world record.

We reported on James Taylor breaking the record for the most shoulder rolls with a football done in one minute.

Now, James holds the record for the most consecutive ‘alternating rebounder volleys’.

At Cardiff University’s training facility in Talybont on Saturday, July 27, James smashed the record of 1,273 volleys in an hour, achieving an impressive 6,030 volleys in the time frame.

Stanwell School Student James, 12, broke his first world record at the age of 11 at the Cardiff City Stadium.

During that attempt, the aspiring footballer was invited onto the pitch during half time to try and beat the existing record of 69 shoulder rolls, which was set by UK Pro Football Freestyler Daniel Cutting in April 2012 - the same month James was born.

James managed to complete an impressive 77 shoulder rolls within 60 seconds, breaking the world record at the time by a further eight rotations.

His world records to date have already enabled him to meet a number of his idols, including Cardiff-born professional freestyler Ash Randall, Cardiff City and former Welsh international captain Aaron Ramsay and former Wales coach Osian Roberts.

The schoolboy is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his football freestyle heroes after mastering his ball control and breaking the World record.

James’ ambition is to perform with fellow Welshman Ash Randall, who is a world-known football freestyler who holds 54 Guinness World Record titles.
